About Me

My name is Jodi Snowdon (previously Jodi Rosser) and I love Jesus! I am passionate about helping you grow deeper in your faith and stronger in your relationships.  I am so glad you are here.

My writing journey began after walking through the hardest year of my life. I believe God takes our greatest heartbreak and turns them into our greatest ministry! This has been true for me. In 2014, God asked me to share what I was learning in the midst of my pain and my Heartbreak to Strength blog was birthed. Now, my blog has grown into encouraging and helping other hurting hearts. If you are in the middle of heartbreak, I want to help you find hope, joy, and purpose through life’s unexpected storms! Heartbreak to Strength Blog Link

My Depth Podcast launched in 2019. My hope is to encourage you to grow deeper in your faith and stronger in your relationships. Honestly, my hardest year of my life also became my most growing year in my faith. God has a way of taking us deeper as we trust Him in the middle of our storms.  Depth Podcast Link

My Book, Depth: Growing Through Heartbreak to Strength asks this question on the back cover: What if your greatest heartbreak catapults you to your greatest growth? This is what happened in my life. My prayer is that this book will help another hurting heart and offer them hope in the middle of their grief. Depth Book Link

My Book Ministry allows me to share God’s truth with others. “We lose ourselves in books; we find ourselves there too.” This quote is hanging on a sign in my favorite room in my house, the library. As I have walked through life’s unexpected storms, books have played a significant part in my healing and my growing which is why I love to give books away. Book Ministry Link

My Speaking Ministry gives me the opportunity to encourage women in person! As a single mom of two sons, I love to cheer on other moms along their motherhood journey with the truths I wish I knew as a young mom. I also love to encourage those grieving and offer hope to a hurting heart using my cracked clay pot. Finally, I love to inspire women to have Depth, to grow deep roots in their faith. I am so thankful that God has not wasted one tear. If you are walking through an unexpected storm, let me first say that I am so sorry. I know hard it can be. Secondly, I want to encourage you today. I know from experience that God wants to take you from a place of heartbreak to strength. As you depend on His strength, not your own, I believe God will grow your roots deeper in Him than ever before.

Love, Jodi
